There are mornings when you wake up and realize that something has quietly changed.
This is one of those mornings.
At 8:20, Iβm already packing. Today, Cora and I have a reservation at Lake Sylvia. There is a destination ahead, trees waiting, a campsite waiting, and another small piece of this journey waiting to unfold.
But before we go, there are a few things worth celebrating.
Oil β βοΈ
Coolant β βοΈ
Coolant circulating β βοΈ
And then the one that made me breathe a little easier:
Insurance β βοΈ
Collision. Comprehensive. Cora is protected.
Those may look like ordinary little checkmarks on a list. But sometimes a checkmark represents much more than the task itself.
It represents something taken care of.
Something no longer hanging over your head.
A little more security. A little more peace.
And perhaps that is what I am learning on this journey: I donβt have to solve everything at once.
I just have to take care of the thing in front of me.
One checkmark.
One mile.
One morning.
One beautiful place at a time.
Today, that place is Lake Sylvia.
And Iβm ready to go see what magic is waiting there. π²βοΈπ
With help from good friends, a faithful Cora, a little determination, and a whole lot of grace.
