Learning “Laid Back”

I thought that my idea of wandering the country kinda like a gypsy was a great idea.  I had read other women’s comments about how much fun they were having.  How they genuinely felt “Laid Back.”

I have discovered that I do NOT KNOW WHAT LAID BACK MEANS.  🫤

I am on a forced stop in Northern Little Rock, Arkansas until I can get the alternator in Cora replaced.  I’m not driving.

So since I had some time on my hands, I decided that I need to know THE ENTIRE OPERATING SYSTEM of a 2013 Subaru Outback.  Preferably in a day.

I developed a class for myself.  “Auto Mechanics for People Who Know Where the Gas Goes.” And with the help of Professor Headquarters (AI) I spent 7 HOURS THE FIRST DAY studying Cora’s starter/operating system.

ARE YOU SERIOUS??!!  That is not any part of “laid back.”

Yesterday I FORCED MYSELF to do nothing.

I walked around the KOA Park, took pictures of some pretty things and went swimming in the pool.  I then fell asleep in a lounge chair and had an excellent nap.

What I have come to realize is that it is not “nothing.”

It is “something.”

It is the “something” that allows my brain to relax.

I quite liked it. 😎

I think I will try it again today. 😉
